"Green Potato: are very dangerous for health, Strictly Avoid This!

Potatoes are uses as a primary ingredient in many dishes. Do you know about green potatoes? These green potatoes are green due to high amount of chlorophyll .But food lovers, that green potatoes are very dangerous for health.
The scientific researches are say that green potatoes have high amount of a poisonous chemical called solanine that can lead to nausea, headaches diarrhea, vomiting & many other ailments, if it is consumed by fault.
The green colour of a potato is mainly due to high amount of chlorophyll, which is basically not harmful for health. But in fact it is a signal that the amount of solanine, which is manufactured at that time when the chlorophyll is also produced, has raised too.
A current report is presented by Alexander Pavlista, who is a professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincon. In the report it was told that — a 100 pound man would have to consume nearly 16 ounces of a totally green potato to fell ill.
It was noticed that the green potatoes were never send to the market for sale. And to prevent the production of solanine, it is always suggested that potatoes should be stored in cool and dim light places, remove the green areas before its consumption.

If the taste of the green potato — is found to be bitter, than don’t consume it. This green diet would prove to be harmful so just avoid it.

The Most Important Facts About Opossums:

Most people don't know ANYTHING about them, but yet they absolutely hate having them around!!!!!
Opossums are one of the coolest and harmless wild animals around. When you see an opossum in your yard, SMILE & feel LUCKY, because FREE labor & recycling is on its way to your yard!

1) Besides eating unpleasant food like dead animals, opossums will eat over-ripe fruit, berries, vegetables, grasses, and leaves [DOESN'T THIS SOUND FANTASTIC SO FAR?????].
They are also known to eat snakes, frogs, birds, ground eggs, snail & slugs [HELLOOOOOOOO SNAIL & SLUGS something people are desperately trying to get ride of], moles, and garbage [WELL, THIS SOUNDS FANTASTIC TO ME....IF YOU HAVE A YARD, YOU WANT TO HAVE THESE CREATURES AROUND, PERIOD!!!!]

2) Many refer to them as "Nature's Little Sanitation Engineers".

3) They are non-destructive [MYTH-BUSTER: THEY ARE NON-DESTRUCTIVE]. In fact, opossums benefit the environment by keeping it clean and healthy.

4) Opossums have a remarkable immune system. They are more resistant to rabies [MYTH-BUSTER...RESISTANT TO RABIES!!!] than other mammals and many can survive venomous bites from rattlesnakes and cottonmouths.

5) Opossums are most active at night. They are non-aggressive animals [once again: MYTH-BUSTER...THEY ARE NON-AGGRESSIVE] (although they may hiss or growl when frightened) that prefer to avoid confrontations and be left alone.

6) When threatened by an animal it is unable to frighten or run away from, the opossum will "play dead" or "play possum". This response is involuntary. They become comatose, foam from the mouth, and secrete a foul smell from their anal glands. They will not move even if they are prodded at or carried away. Most attackers will simply walk away and the opossum will regain consciousness after a few minutes or a few hours.

7) The life span of an opossum is one of the shortest for mammals its size. They usually live 2-4 years. Most are killed by predators and cars.

8) Opossums can produce 1-2 litters a year. The gestation is short (about 12-14 days). When the babies are born, they will find their way to the pouch and attach to a teat. At about 3 months, they will leave the pouch. For about another 2 months, the mother will carry her young on her back when away from the den.

9) Opossums have many teeth, more than any other land mammal, and a prehensile tail, one that can grasp or hold. Their tail helps stabilize them as they climb but they are not used to hang from trees. The tail is not strong enough to support an adult's body (babies may hang temporarily).

10) Opossums are said to rank higher in intelligence than dogs.

11) Opossums have superpowers against snakes. They have partial or total immunity to the venom produced by rattlesnakes, cottonmouths and other pit vipers.

12) They are natural recyclers: Their normal diet consists of carrion, rodents, insects, snails, slugs, birds, eggs, frogs, plants, fruits and grains. They also eat human food, table scraps, dog food and cat food. They have an unusually high need for calcium, which incites them to eat the skeletons of rodents and road kill they consume. They're the sanitation workers of the wild.

13) Although many people think opossums are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, there are several areas of intelligence in which they soar. For one, they have a remarkable ability to find food and to remember where it is. When tested for the ability to remember where food is, opossums scored better than rats, rabbits, cats, dogs … but not as well as humans. They also can find their way through a maze more quickly than rats and cats.

14) Since their diet allows them to indulge on snails, slugs and beetles, they are a welcome addition to the garden. Opossums also keep rats and cockroaches at bay by competing with them for food. In fact, it’s common for opossums to kill cockroaches and rats if they find them in their territory.

15) The opossum has opposable "thumbs." The opossum's "thumbs" (called halux) are on its rear feet (so, technically they're toes), and abet the opossum’s formidable climbing skills. Primates and opossums are the only mammals with opposable first toes.

16) The eyes of the opossum appear black, but what we are seeing are strongly dilated pupil; there is iris around them, it’s just mostly out of sight. The giant pupils are thought to be an adaptation to their nocturnal habits. "

"The snake has heat-sensitive pits at either side of its face, which it uses to detect threats -- and let's face it, if you're close enough for your body heat to be detected, you're close enough to be considered a threat. Oh, and also what the hell are you doing standing so close to a venomous snake's face?

These heat-sensitive pits are capable of detecting a threatening presence for hours after death, which means the snake may continue to defend itself, zombie-style. And yes, this applies even if the body is no longer attached. So anyone dumb enough to poke and prod it to assess its level of deadness may quickly find themselves with a sudden increase in the level of pissiness of their pants when the snake's movement sensors kick into action.

But don't worry, it's not all doom and gloom, because a snake's venom loses its toxicity after its death. Except that's a total lie, which means that getting bitten by a dead snake can make you just as dead as getting bitten by a living one, but add to the excruciating pain the severe humiliation, because who the hell loses a fight to a dead animal?

Well, a Washington man known as Anderson, for one. The 53-year-old and his son tag-teamed a rattlesnake outside their house and pulled a Walking Dead on it with a shovel, only to have the head rear up and bite him when he went to check out the success of their mission. In his own words: "When I reached down to pick up the head, it raised around and did a back flip almost, and bit my finger."

So what we're telling you here, we guess, is that a severed snake head not only refuses to die, but its svelte new bodiless form can perform freaking acrobatics to get at you with its poisonous bits. "
